Meet Lindsey Speirs, Trainer and Rescue Operative, Mansfield Centre
Lindsey Speirs is an experienced Health and Safety Instructor at MRS Training & Rescue in Mansfield, specialising in Confined Space training and Mental Health First Aid.
With a background in working with individuals facing mental illness, challenging behaviour, and disabilities, Lindsey brings a wealth of knowledge to her current role. She also has 8 years of experience in palliative care, specifically with dementia patients, which has further deepened her understanding of mental health and overall life challenges.
At MRS, she delivers training to raise awareness about mental health and assists others in recognising and supporting those living with mental illness. Additionally, as a member of the Confined Space rescue team, Lindsey is responsible for casualty stabilisation and extraction, wearing both Open-Circuit and Closed-Circuit Breathing Apparatus in operational environments, including working underground in oxygen-deficient conditions.
