Our Aberdeen Training Centre is located on Balgownie Road, Bridge of Don.

Our Aberdeen site, located 2 miles from the city centre, is easily accessible from Aberdeen Airport. Featuring purpose-built facilities, it offers accredited, customisable courses in working at height, confined spaces, and first aid.

About Aberdeen

Our Aberdeen training centre has six dedicated training rooms for classroom-based course theory, alongside purpose-built facilities for specialist practical training.

Confined Spaces Facilities:
The centre features a dedicated confined space vessel and an interconnected network of crawl spaces in a continuous tunnel system. The vessel and tunnels have multiple entry points – and can be accessed via stacking 3m concrete rings, accurately recreating the entrance to most tunnels and sewers.

To simulate high-risk confined space scenarios, the tunnels are equipped with strobe lighting and can be filled with artificial smoke, recreating challenging conditions in a controlled setting. Additionally, the tunnels can be accessed via a 6m shaft with no ladder access, simulating high-risk vertical entry points, or through horizontal access doors designed to mimic awkward entry and egress points such as boilers and furnaces.

Working at Height Facilities:
Our state-of-the-art 14m indoor scaffold system is designed for working at height, ladder, and rope access training. Featuring ladders, trap doors, gates, hatches, guard rails, sloping roofs, flat roofs, and towers and a mock wind turbine hub, this versatile structure can simulate a broad range of working at height scenarios across a range of industries.

Rescue and Bespoke Training:
This combination of facilities can also be used for rescue training, including suspension drills and casualty stretcher rescues, or for bespoke training tailored to specific risks and work environments.

Travelling from the South, stay on the A90 until it becomes the A92. Then keep on the A92 which brings you onto Anderson Drive, which merges into North Anderson Drive. At Haudagain roundabout, stay on the A92 and straight on at the next roundabout over the Persley Bridge. Straight over the next roundabout you will see a Tesco on your right-hand side. Follow the road and go straight over the roundabout at Gordon Bray. Take the next right on to Balgownie Road and keep going until you see the sign for Campus One.

Travelling from the North. Stay on the A90 until it becomes the A92. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Ellon Rd/A92 and at the next roundabout, take the third exit onto The Parkway/A92. Then turn left onto Balgownie Rd and turn right onto Campus One.

Travelling from Inverness, take the A96 all the way to the Haudagain Roundabout and then follow directions from here as per The South.
