Swadlincote

Our Swadlincote Training Centre covers Birmingham and the West Midlands area.

Accessible via the A42, M42, and M1, our Swadlincote Training Centre offers hands-on, expert-led training in confined space, working at height, first aid, IOSH, and firefighting – delivered using purpose-built facilities.

About Swadlincote

Our Swadlincote centre features 5 spacious training rooms and purpose-built facilities for practical training tailored to a range of industries.

Confined Space Facilities:
At the heart of our facilities is a state-of-the-art confined space chamber, custom-built to simulate hot, humid, and challenging confined space scenarios.

This chamber includes:

  • A walkway with a central vertical entry point
  • Partitioned chambers with a variety of entry points
  • 8 infrared waterproof cameras for safety and training review.

We can also introduce artificial smoke to replicate low visibility conditions.

An additional confined space training unit offers a 4m shaft for vertical access, as well as pipework, tubes, and central spaces to simulate realistic tasks and challenges.

Working at Height Facilities:
Our indoor 4m high scaffold training rig is designed to replicate various working at height scenarios. It features:

  • Ladders
  • Trap doors
  • Gates
  • Hatches
  • Guard rails
  • A sloping roof
  • A flat roof

We also offer a freestanding tower for suspension, suspended reduces, and casualty stretcher training.

PASMA Facilities:
We also have a PASMA-accredited mobile tower, for practical training in Advanced Guard Rail (AGR) and through-the-trapdoor methods.

Fire Safety Facilities:
Our fire rig is available for both on-site and off-site fire user and fire warden training, equipping delegates with essential fire safety skills.
