Cowdenbeath

Our Cowdenbeath Training Centre is located in Crossgates.

Just a 40-minute drive from Edinburgh, our Fife centre features state-of-the-art, purpose-built facilities for hands-on working at height, confined space, rope access, renewable energy, fire fighting, and first aid safety training.

About Cowdenbeath

With 12 dedicated training rooms and a variety of purpose-built training facilities, our Fife centre allows us to deliver immersive training experiences that prepare delegates for real-world working scenarios.

Confined Space Facilities:
The centre features a range of confined space vessels, tunnels, and crawl spaces with various head heights and entry points. The 100 metres of crawl space can be filled with artificial smoke to simulate challenges delegates might face when working in confined spaces.

Working at Height Facilities:
We also have an 8m scaffold system designed to recreate a range of work at height scenarios using caged ladders, vertical ladders, trap doors, gates, sloping and flat roofs, and a freestanding tower.

Wind Turbine Training:
Additionally, our outdoor 17m tower and decommissioned wind turbine (with hub, nacelle, and blades) are used for wind turbine training. These facilities are part of our accredited courses for the renewables sector, recognised by the Global Wind Organisation.
