Knottingley

Our Yorkshire Training Centre is located in Knottingley, West Yorkshire.

At our Yorkshire training centre, we offer health and safety courses for a range of industries. With state-of-the-art facilities and expert instructors, we specialise in work at height, confined space, first aid, and wind turbine safety training.

About Knottingley

Our Knottingley training centre features 6 dedicated training rooms and a wide range of purpose-built facilities designed for practical, hands-on learning.

Confined Space Facilities:
We have a self-contained confined space training chamber built into the fabric of the building, offering 70 metres of crawl space with internal cameras to monitor and review training sessions. Additionally, a second confined space unit features tunnels and crawl spaces that can be filled with artificial smoke to replicate realistic emergency scenarios.

Working at Height Facilities:
The centre also offers purpose-built working at height training facilities, including an indoor system with a variety of ladders and a sloping roof to simulate industry-specific scenarios. Our outdoor facilities include an 8-metre high pitched roof with chimney for additional work at height and rescue training.

Renewable Energy Training Facilities:
For the renewables sector, we have an external 8-metre high mock wind turbine, complete with a hub and nacelle, designed for specialised training in wind turbine safety and rescue operations.
