We go through a rigorous selection process to ensure we employ only the best people for the job, usually with real life experience of working in high-risk environments which in turn, allows them to offer the extra dimension of personal experience when delivering training.

As part of our standard recruitment process, we often hold interview days where candidates:

  • Undertake an initial face to face interview
  • Prepare and deliver a short presentation
  • Undergo a scenario-based exercise on some of our training facilities and equipment
  • Undertake a general fitness medical (to ensure they are suitable to carry out the role required)

We also require a satisfactory DBS / Disclosure Scotland check and two references.

The outcome of this recruitment process is that all our staff are capable of becoming qualified and competent trainers and assessors to provide the highest levels of training possible.

Great course, great venue, so much better than using that crappy portable tunnel thing, get rid of it. Instructor was so nice, put you at ease, great presentation work and made it easy to follow. Very enjoyable.

I attended Emergency First Aid Course. The trainer Dale was fab, made everything easy to understand and great knowledge too. Good to practice CPR, Defib and bandaging techniques too. Thanks very much - will definitely be back again when due.
