Working at Height

Avao Bod Rope Access Harness

A full body harness, available in three sizes, suitable for work positioning, fall arrest and work restraint. Key features include:
• An X-shaped dorsal (rear top) section which has a ‘double yolk’ (an inner and an outer section), that is linked through to the leg loops. This ensures that the pressures exerted on the user during suspension are distributed better, and offers greater comfort.
• Wide waist belt and leg loops to limit pressure points and give better support.
• Five gear loops offering plenty of space to store equipment.

Mittleman D8500 Tripod

Lightweight, portable tripod for use with the Unidrive winch. Has two integrated anchor points, one adjustable foot to compensate for uneven floors, and solid footing by guy topes. It is dismountable for transportation and has a capacity of 500kg.

P&P Super Mark 3 Four Point Fall Arrest Harness

A good general purpose harness for working at height, under fall arrest or restraint conditions, with side attachments which are important when considering the pendulum effect.

Can be used in confined spaces so long as a rescue attachment is specified at the time of purchase.

Four point fall arrest harness with 3 bar slide and rectangular link leg and chest connectors. Adjustable length shoulder straps with a 3 bar buckle to ensure the chest strap is positioned over the sternum area.

Petzl Vertex Best Helmet

The Vertex Best helmet sets the standard in head protection for working at height and rescue. The adjustable head band ensure a secure fit, whilst the strong chin strap limits the risk of losing the helmet during a fall. The solid shell reduces ventilation but does meet the requirements of EN397 and EN50365 for electrical insulation and molten metal splash. This helmet is a compromise between the sport and industrial standards. It meets the sport standard requirements for chin strap strength and the industrial requirements for protection against falling objects.

Petzl Grillon Hook

The Petzl Grillon Hook adjustable lanyard is great quality and used for work positioning. Its length can be very easily and precisely adjusted as necessary for comfortable positioning at the work station. It can be used as an EN795 anchor point.

Bolero FRS Rescue Harness

Two point fall arrest harness, with 3 bar slide and rectangular link chest connection. Adjustable length leg loops and shoulder straps with a roller buckle to ensure the straps are positioned correctly. Includes an overhead rescue attachment and fitted with a Nyplax waistcoat. The chest strap on this harness is a full chest strap going all the way around the chest to provide an exceptionally secure configuration which increases the distribution of load when using the front "D" ring.

PIXA® 3 (ATEX)

Headlamp for use in ATEX zone 2/22 explosive environments, suitable for proximity lighting, movement and long-range vision. 100 lumens. The PIXA 3 headlamp is rugged and versatile. The multi-beam adapts to all situations: close-range work, movement, and long-range vision. Constant lighting technology: brightness does not decrease gradually as the batteries are drained. It meets ATEX zone 2/22 certification requirements for work in explosive environments.

Sala Digital Winch 27m

The Sala Digital winch has the option to change the manual winch to a mechanically driven device using a suitable drill and overload protection clutch (sold seperately). With 90 ft. (27 m) of 3/16" (5mm) galvanized steel wire rope it offers the following features:

Sabre MARS2 Manual and Automatic Resuscitation System

Sabre MARS2 is the result of extensive research and development; the culmination of Sabre’s 20 years’ experience in the manufacture of resuscitators.

All models are designed to meet BS6850:1987 for ventilator resuscitators. Whilst there are many versions of the Sabre MARS, they are all based on the same design philosophy enabling the carer to concentrate on looking after the patient, not on operating the equipment.
