Our training centre in Fife held a very successful open day on Wednesday 20 June to celebrate over 30 years of successful health and safety training provision at this location.
The team there ran a series of taster sessions and practical demonstrations showcasing the range of training we offer, with many courses approved by the GWO. This included:
- A wind turbine used for training work at height and rescue
- Other work at height towers and platforms – with a chance to abseil down their 17m tower!
- Confined space tunnels for practical training exercises
- A range of classroom training including first aid, fire fighting, IOSH and GWO courses
The day was officially ‘opened’ by the Provost of Fife, Jim Leishman, who also abseiled from the 17m tower, as did several of the customers that attended. And later on in the day, Gordon Brown paid a visit too.
The open day was a great success and has strengthened our position in Scotland as the H&S experts.
