An extremely robust rescue device which can be operated by a single person and can carry up to 280kg when using the ratchet system, giving direct and fast lifting possibilities for rescue. A handwheel or motor mechanism is also available with a maximum capacity of 200kg. The Max-Drive device has a top abseiling height of 200m and equipped with centrifugal force brakes, which provide a constant descent speed of approximately 0.7 meters per second. With an automatic backstop of LiftEvac it can be used to rescue anyone who cannot exit by normal routes such as stairs or a lift. The devices are constructed so that the braking unit works completely independently of the rope unit. This guarantees smooth functioning even in severe weather conditions.
