As you would expect our skilled staff:
- Are highly experienced and competent in rescue and recovery of casualties from confined spaces
- Regularly train in casualty recovery using a range of confined space equipment and scenarios
- Have current first aid at work certificates plus additional skills in transporting casualties from confined spaces
- Are fully trained in the use of oxygen resuscitators, analgesic equipment (pain killing) and defibrillators
All rescue team members comply with the minimum requirements of the National Occupational Standards for safe working and entry into confined spaces (City and Guilds 6150 qualifications). Our experienced operatives also hold the much higher Mines Rescue Operatives QCF competence qualification. We use breathing apparatus appropriate to the risk assessment and control measures identified within. This can be either apparatus rated for 20 minutes wearing time, or the BG4 re-breather which is rated at 4 hours wearing time. As well as this, we have escape breathing apparatus from 10 minute duration through to 4 hours. We are the best equipped for the most difficult jobs.
We work across the UK and have 7 centres we operate from – so location is not an issue. Furthermore, we provide cover 24 hours a day 7 days a week so you have peace of mind knowing you have the right rescue cover when you need it.
