This High Risk Confined Spaces Requalification course is for those who have completed a high risk confined spaces course in the past and now require re-certification.

Those who wish to attend this course must have a valid High Risk Confined Space certificate. If this was completed through another training provider, they must supply evidence prior to attending the course.

This training course is highly practical and will provide delegates with the skills and knowledge they require to enter and work safely in a high risk confined environment which requires the use of breathing apparatus.

Due to the nature of the training course and the emphasis placed on communication, there is only a provision for the assessments to be undertaken in English. Therefore, candidates for this type of training must be able to understand and speak the English language.

This training course combines lectures, demonstrations and practical training within a simulated high risk confined space environment. On this course, delegates must pass practical and written assessments to receive certification.

Those who successfully complete this requalification course will have up-to-date knowledge and skills which enable them to:

  • Prepare to enter and work safely in high risk confined spaces
  • Enter and exit confined spaces safely
  • Prepare and use self-contained open circuit and escape breathing apparatus in accordance with manufacturers’ specifications
  • Use equipment and tools safely and in accordance with manufacturers’ instructions
  • Follow procedures and work safely
  • Deal with emergencies
  • Work with others
  • Use general knowledge for working in high risk confined spaces and their environments

The practical mock-up confined space facility was good and gave us chance to practice what we had been taught. I would recommend MRS confined spaces course to anyone requiring this training. Thank you MRS.
