MEDIUM RISK CONFINED SPACES REQUALIFICATION
Breaks for refreshments are included in this overall total
This Medium Risk Confined Spaces Requalification course is for those who have completed a medium risk confined spaces course in the past and now require re-certification.
Those who wish to attend this course must have a valid Medium Risk Confined Space certificate. If this was completed through another training provider, they must supply evidence prior to attending the course.
This course is a combination of theory and practical training. The practical parts of this course are taught in simulated confined space environments, such as indoor tunnels – and topics covered include safe entry, emergency procedures, using breathing apparatus and medium risk entry controller.
Due to the nature of the training course and the emphasis placed on communication, there is only a provision for the assessments to be undertaken in English. Therefore, candidates for this type of training must be able to understand and speak the English language.
This course provides delegates with up-to-date knowledge and skills for working safely in a confined space.
This includes:
- Preparing to work safely in medium risk confined spaces
- Entering and exiting confined spaces safely
- Preparing and using escape breathing apparatus (in accordance with manufacturers' specifications)
- Using equipment and tools safely (in accordance with manufacturers' specifications)
- Following procedures and dealing with emergencies
- Medium risk entry controller
