About this course
This 1-day Working at Height with Manual Handling GWO refresher course reviews and builds on knowledge and skills gained from the full course. It refreshes delegates on the theory and practical skills, like using basic PPE and how to perform a basic rescue from heights safely – in environments such as wind turbines.
The training includes how to use a safe system of work, equipment selection and inspection, the use of tools, risk assessment, emergency procedures and how to evacuate and rescue using industry standing equipment.
It also covers manual handling techniques and ensuring delegates gain an understanding of the importance of carrying out work duties in a safe manner – and in accordance with legislative requirements (of their geographical location).
