About this course
This course is interactive and is compliant with all current health and safety regulations.
Candidates are taught practical actions they are required to take in their role – and the skills they will need to deliver their health and safety responsibilities. This course is designed to integrate health and safety in the routine of all candidates' roles.
This course covers:
- A recap of the Managing Safely course
- How to promote a safety culture in your organisation
- Check your health and safety policy
- How to deliver it in your organisation
- Risk Assessments
- How to review and act on findings
- Measuring performance
An interactive case study exercise is used throughout the course to apply refreshed knowledge to the plan-do-check-act model and then link it back to the workplace. For example, learners will discover what a safety and health policy looks like, come up with ideas to influence safety culture and select the best communication methods to engage a workforce.
This course is taught by experienced and qualified IOSH approved instructors – who have technical membership of IOSH.
Instructor / candidate ratio - 1:10
