Sometimes it is only when things go wrong that you realise that you may have a potential issue with your health and safety management system.
Reasons to investigate a workplace accident include:
most importantly, to find out the cause (immediate, underlying and root) of accidents and to prevent similar accidents in the future
to fulfil any legal requirements
to determine the cost of an accident
to determine legal compliance
to process workers' compensation claims
Incidents that involve no injury or property damage should still be investigated to determine the corrective action. The same principles apply to a minor incident and to the more formal investigation of a serious event.
We can offer an independent incident investigations service that can work in parallel with specialists, to identify and address any potential gaps and avoid future issues.
MRS Training & Rescue can work with you to assist in your incident investigation, or where necessary carryout investigations independently of the wider organisation. The level of investigation can be tailored to the severity or potential severity of the event.

MRS and Elgin Marsh delivered a great and bespoke training course to our operatives on gas monitors. The training was informative, relevant to our work, and kept the team engaged. MRS went above and beyond by creating a bespoke training course for us, and managed to deliver training on our premises with a week's notice. Highly professional throughout, and I would highly recommend them.

Really good first aid at work refresher course, never got boring good mixture of practical and theory and not just watching power points, more mannequins was better too, plus a couple of competitions made it interesting. Well presented by Phil too. Would recommend to any company. Plus always finished on time and did what it said refreshed everything and told us any changes in first aid since last refresher 👍
