It is all about the people – one area which truly differentiates us is the experience of our operators.
Our rescue teams are highly trained, confined space and at height recue experts, all qualified as either rescue team leaders or rescue operatives. They are all directly employed by MRS Training & Rescue as we passionately believe in employing the right people for the role. They have real-life skills and expertise in working in hazardous environments.
When delivering services, our primary concern is for the safety of our teams and the teams of the organisations we support. Therefore, we are highly demanding when providing initial training and then proving ongoing competence, and we have a comprehensive competence management system, supported by regulated qualifications, with knowledge skills and behaviours being periodically reviewed and refreshed.
As well as working in a technical rescue function, our operatives pass on their knowledge in the classroom. Each has relevant teaching qualifications, and the skills to teach a range of courses such as:
- First aid
- Confined space, up to and including High Risk with Rescue
- Working at height training, including specialist rescue
- Fire Fighting and Fire Warden
- Health & Safety
We pride ourselves on being prepared to handle whatever we encounter, and 120 years of experience mean we can handle quite a lot!
