As a company experienced in working in hazardous environments, we are currently developing a new nationwide service to provide technical rescue for anyone working on or above water in the UK.

This is an added value service to our already strong rescue provision for industry for anyone working around water and that would need to have a rescue plan in place for being able to get workers to safety from the water, such as bridges, reservoirs, dams, culverts, viaducts etc.

Background

With over 120 years’ experience of working in hazardous and confined spaces, we are experienced in providing health and safety consultancy services and site investigations to industry. Very often in conducting assessments of work and risks, we identify control measure needed to keep workers safe. Where work involves working over water, this can sometimes mean water rescue services are required.

The service

Civil Engineering companies, utilities and the power industry regularly work over or near water in high-risk situations at height or in confined spaces.

This new service will enable us to provide a water rescue team and boat driver, fully trained in Swift Water Rescue and Flood Rescue Technician.

We have purchased a new safety boat with powerful outboard engine, which is well maintained and equipped with all the necessary lifesaving equipment should an emergency arise. Our operatives have the flexibility to adapt to any situation, are completely dependable and we can respond at short notice from all our eight training centres across the UK.

More details will follow soon, but until then do get in touch to discuss any specific projects you may have.
