From our Wales Training Centre we provide a wide range of training courses suitable for many different industries. The courses we provide include Confined Space training courses, first aid training courses, IOSH training courses, working at height training courses and Fire Fighting training courses – to name a few.

We also deliver a range of practical working at heights courses, including a 1 day  working safely at height course. Our working at height facilities include internal and external ladders, hatches, rooftop anchor beams, handrails, slopes, gates and a range of internal furnishings – which allow us to cover a wide range of work applications, for customers in a variety of industrial sectors.

Our trainers use real stories to help demonstrate the importance of all our training courses. We teach practical skills – ensuring everything you learn can be put into practice when you return to your employer.

Training facilities

In addition to 6 dedicated training rooms – our centre has dedicated confined spaces vessels and crawl spaces that allow us to deliver realistic confined space training. Our centre features a network of tunnels – that has been used to train underground miners. Today the space has been restructured and can be used to train delegates who work in a wide variety of industries.

The tunnels feature walkways, boxed twin crawl ways, shafts and different levels. The spaces can also be filled with obstructions, sounds, alarms and artificial smoke, to recreate emergencies and real life scenarios.

Our centre has purpose built working at height facilities – including a 5.5 meter scaffold system and a mock wind turbine. The scaffold system is indoors, so we can use it year round – and features additions and accessories that can be used to simulate almost any working at height conditions. They include ladders, trap doors, gates, guard rails and a sloping roof.

The mock wind turbine allows us to provide a range of courses for the wind turbine industry – and the renewables industries.

During this pandemic I was a little nervous to attend but straight away felt that no more could be done to keep us safe during training. The trainer was very knowledgable and all staff friendly. We were all made to feel very welcome.

Excellent and confident trainer with vast knowledge and experience. Answered every question we asked and found out the answers if they didn’t know.

I just wanted to pass on my thanks to you and your respective team who once again supported us so well over the summer as we undertook major refurbishment of the scour valves at Caban Coch. This was a critical project for us and safety on such a challenging job was our top priority. As ever your team did a great job providing critical safe access and emergency plan support – its very reassuring to have you ‘guys’ on site.
