Our Houghton Training Centre covers Newcastle and the North East area. Our centre is easily accessible thanks to its location between the A1 and the A19.

We provide a range of training courses suitable for a variety of industries – all taught in specially designed training facilities and classrooms. Our courses are taught by skilled trainers most of whom are current or former rescuers.
We specialise in teaching low, medium and high risk confined space training courses - as well as specialist courses such as our PASMA accredited mobile tower course. In our Houghton training centre we have facilities which help us recreate the situations and conditions necessary to teach the right confined spaces skills. Our aim is to teach all our candidates the knowledge and practical skills required for real-life application.
From our training centre we also teach lots of other safety courses – including; First Aid training courses, IOSH training courses, Working at Height training courses and Fire Fighting training courses.
Mobile & tailored on-site training

Our team has a state-of-the-art mobile training unit – this means they can teach confined space training at any location – including your offices, factory or work site. The towable unit has everything required to complete our low, medium or high risk confined space training courses.
Our team can come to you to teach one of our other health and safety courses – like first aid; or we can work with you to develop the tailored training courses for your specific needs or industry.

Really good first aid at work refresher course, never got boring good mixture of practical and theory and not just watching power points, more mannequins was better too, plus a couple of competitions made it interesting. Well presented by Phil too. Would recommend to any company. Plus always finished on time and did what it said refreshed everything and told us any changes in first aid since last refresher 👍
